The session covers the basic terms and legal structure of the standard Silicon Valley venture capital fund, and outlines the financial flows and economics of investing through a venture capital fund. The class also discusses the advantages of the Limited Partnership model for managing investments, reducing risks, and protecting corporate investors from litigation. This class answers many questions corporate investors have about the venture capital fund model.
